There are some very talented touring artists coming to San Angelo this weekend and you don't need to miss out on them.  I do understand being at two places at one time can be difficult though.

Well this weekend in the Concho Valley there will be plenty of things to do.  Three major touring acts in the Texas Red Dirt scene will be in town between two venues.  Kyle Park and Brian Keane will be rocking the Midnight Rodeo stage Friday night.

Brian Keane will be opening and he is one heck of a great guy and musician.  Brian is genuine in everything he says and does along with be a fantastic singer/songwriter.  He writes with the likes of Adam Hood and Hayes Carll so you know this guy is legit.  Brian hit number 2 on the Texas charts with a co-write he did with Adam Hood 'I'll Sing About Mine'.  Then of course we've got good ole Kyle Park.  He might be coming here from Stephenville since he's always talking about 'Leavin' Stephenville'.  All puns aside Kyle has got great tunes and is very talented and something else about Kyle, I wish I had his energy.  His stage presence is just spectacular, getting the crowd involved and bringing a very in your face type of show.  You won't be disappointed.

Across town at Blaine's Pub it's John David Kent and The Dumb Angels making their Blaine's Pub debut. Let's face it, John David Kent or JDK as I call him, is just a certified badass. I saw Ray Wylie Hubbard say some fantastic words about him on twitter. Something to the chime of the superb quality in the performance, songwriting and musicianship of JDK's shows and music. If he's got Ray Wylie's approval I'd say he's worth going to see. You can hear his recent singles like 'Runaway' 'Back To The Country' and 'My Girl' along with the rest of his music catalog. It's going to be a good time so don't miss out.
