Sundance Head wins ‘The Voice’ & Comes To San Angelo
Sundance Head won the 2016 competition on 'The Voice' and his current tour is bringing him to Midnight Rodeo in San Angelo this Friday, April 14th!...
This guy has a fantastic voice and he can sing it all from soulful country to rock, blues and beyond!
Sundance proved his versatility with his song choices for competition. It's not easy to cover Otis Redding, Alicia Keys, Wilson Pickett, Pearl Jam, Keith Urban, Bad Company and others that got him to the top!
Sundance is From Porter, Texas and the son of Roy Head who had quite a bit of success between the 50's and 80's both as frontman for a band called the Traits, and with a solo career. Roy is even in the Rockabilly Hall of Fame!
Sundance is certainly keeping the family music tradition alive. In 2007 he was a simi-finalist on 'American Idol'. Then in 2016 Sundance beat them all to win 'The Voice' with Blake Shelton as his coach.
Blake took Sundance on tour with him earlier this year during February and March.
I am really looking forward to the show this Friday. Listen to get on the Kickin' Country guest list and take a moment to check out the above winning video performance of Sundance Head with an original song that won him the competition. It's called 'Darlin' Don't Go'.
