I visited with Mike Childress, Case Management Director for the Boys Ranch today on the 'Kickin' Wake-Up Call' to find out what is going on at the Ranch these days...... Mike told me that several of the boys are graduating and moving on to some exciting ventures...

The 11th Annual West Texas Boys Ranch Sporting Clay Shoot is April 23rd and Whitney Shorb with the Boys Ranch visited with me on the Kickin' Wake-Up Call to talk about this year's event.

The West Texas Boys Ranch has been such a great help to so many boys over the years, helping to set them on the right track for success. As we come into the Holidays, they are gearing up for fun before the boys go home for the Holidays.

It's been a while since I have had the opportunity to visit with Whitney Shorb from the Boys Ranch. She has been a little busy, having a baby! Congratulations to Whitney and her family. She did make it in this morning to fill us in on a couple of upcoming events.

This is a fun time for everyone. It is a golden opportunity to show off your Roping skills and also for cookers to showcase their fine culinary abilities. Even if you don't do either of these, come on out as a spectator and have a lot of fun...

This is West Texas Boys Ranch's largest fundraiser of the year, and also one of the most exciting as their 10th annual Clay bird Shoot takes place Saturday, April 25th at the Claybird Association on highway 67.

This Saturday, January 24th everyone is in for a treat with the West Texas Boys Ranch Ball.

Come out enjoy some true to the roots West Texas music by Jody Nix and the Texas Cowboys at 2015 Ranch Ball. Don your dancing boots, grab your date, and enjoy and evening full of fun for a great cause. Spend the night relaxing with a delicious dinner, a cash bar, and a silent auction throughout the evening -- and the best thing about this event...
