Texans A Plenty Among 2015 Grammy Nominations

The nominees for the 2015 Grammy's were announced today, and Texas is well represented.

Among the Texan nominees are Jacksonville, Texas native Lee Ann Womack, who is up for Best Country Album for her album The Way I'm Livin'.

Lindale, Texas native Miranda Lambert is also up for Best Country Album for her album Platinum.

Steven Martin (yes, the comedian/actor) is up for for Best American Roots Song.  Steve was born in Waco in case you didn't know.  Martin, who is an accomplished banjo player and no stranger to winning music Grammy's, wrote the song "Pretty Little One" with Edie Brickell, who is the wife of singer/songwriter Paul Simon.
