The Sweetwater Rattlesnake Roundup is Next Weekend

I visited with a couple of Sweetwater J.C. Roosters this morning on the 'Kickin' Wake-Up Call' to talk about the upcoming Rattlesnake Roundup. During the interview they actually took a rattlesnake out of their box of snakes....Check it out in the video!!.......

Keith and Donnie Willmann are brothers who have been involved in the Roundup and handling snakes for many years.

This will be the 58th Annual Sweetwater Rattlesnake Roundup which is the largest event of it's kind in the World!!

There are lots of activities over a three day period....March 11th through the 13th.

They will have plenty of Rattlesnake demonstrations to teach people how to handle situations that could arise with the huge population of Rattlesnakes in our part of the country.

There will be a parade, big gun & knife show, a cook-off, arts & crafts. plenty to eat...including Rattlesnake, and a lot more.

Enjoy evening dances both Friday and Saturday nights with some very well known Texas music bands!
