The Turnpike Troubadours are getting ready for a tour that will cover a lot of the U.S. starting March 30th in Louisiana, and continuing into August with their final show in Idaho.

Over the next six months, the band will play almost 40 dates.

In February the group had a very successful first tour of the U.K.

This upcoming tour will take them into even more unfamiliar regions around the United States where other Texas/Red Dirt bands have not really ventured. It will be interesting to see how the reception will be. I'm betting they will be loved wherever they play!

There is speculation that the Troubadours have been in the recording studio and could release a new album in late 2017. That could be one of the reasons for this extended tour.
