‘The Walking Dead’ Star Norman Reedus Joins Anthrax Onstage to Play Bass on ‘Indians’
Watch your back, Frank Bello, because Norman Reedus may put an arrow through your head and take your gig! At Anthrax’s recent show in Atlanta, the Walking Dead star picked up a bass to join the thrashers onstage for their performance of “Indians.”
Slayer, Anthrax and Death Angel are touring the country to bring fans some of the world’s greatest thrash. Last night (Oct. 5), the bill made its way to Atlanta, Ga., where filming for The Walking Dead takes place. It may have been more poetic to have Reedus guest on “Among the Living” or “Fight ‘Em ’Til You Can’t,” but to see Norman wielding a bass instead of a crossbow for “Indians” ain’t a bad alternative.
Anthrax posted footage of Reedus’ short guest appearance along with a photo of the Walking Dead badass:
Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian was a guest in Reedus’ world for a 2015 Walking Dead episode. As a diehard fan of the AMC horror phenomenon, Scott was transformed into a “walker” and was (SPOILER ALERT) killed by the young Carl Grimes via pole through the cranium.
