Tootsie's Orchid Lounge is a honky-tonk bar in Nashville behind the Ryman Auditorium. Tootsie Bess bought the future honky tonk on March 29th,1960....and since then it has been a mainstay of downtown Nashville. Tootsie's has three stages that host live talent each night featuring many legendary artist as well as modern day country artist.

Tootsie's heritage dates all the way back to its early famous first customers and performers like Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline, Mel Tillis, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, Roger Miller, Dolly Parton, Aaron Neville, Marty Stuart, Tanya Tucker, and Ray Price as well as many of today's newer popular artist such as Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Trisha Yearwood, Kid Rock and many more.

It is said that Willie Nelson received his first songwriting gig after singing at Tootsie's. Countless other artist and writers built their success stories starting at Tootsie's as well
