Top 10 Most Stolen Vehicles in 2020 Listed
The latest list of the Top 10 most stolen vehicles in the United States have been released by the National Insurance Crime Bureau.
The list is referred to as the Bureau's annual Hot Wheels report which list the top 10 vehicles that were most stolen during 2020 in the United States.
Information collected by law enforcement containing vehicle theft data that includes make, model, and year is submitted to the National Crime Information Center. After all of the auto theft information collected over the year is analyzed, the annual Hot Wheels report is released. 2020's results have been announced and here they are!

2004 Chevrolet Full Size Pick-up
2000 Honda Civic
1997 Honda Accord
2019 Toyota Camry
2020 Nissan Altima
2005 GMC Full Size Pick-up
2020 Toyota Corolla
2000 Honda CR-V
2001 Dodge Full Size Pick-up
David Glawe, president and CEO of the NICB, said in a statement...."Auto thefts saw a dramatic increase in 2020 versus 2019 in part due to the pandemic, an economic downturn, law enforcement realignment, depleted social and schooling programs, and, in still too many cases, owner complacency." Glawe went on to say "For many people, a car is the second largest investment they will ever make behind a home. No matter what kind of vehicle you have, take steps to protect your investment. Lock your car and take your keys."
Take a close look at the year models of the vehicles on the top 10 list for 2020. I find it very interesting that the makes & models range from 1997 to 2020.
I don't know about you, but I certainly don't want my vehicle to be on the list of automobiles most likely to be stolen!!
