Willie Nelson had to postpone a show that was scheduled in Midland yesterday, (Nov. 13th).

The Wagner Nöel Performing Arts Center in Midland, Texas made the announcement but did not disclose the specific illness. The venue did, however, say the performance would be rescheduled and advised those with tickets to hang onto them.

It was just days earlier that Willie played on Jimmy Kimmel Live, performing “Heartaches by the Number” from his recently released Ray Price tribute album called For The Good Times.

In addition to all his TV appearances and recording, Nelson keeps a very busy schedule of touring, which can take a toll on just about anybody, especially when you are 83 years old.

In 2015, Nelson revealed that he had undergone stem-cell surgery in relation to lung issues he’s dealt with for a lot of his life. He had to cancel shows around that time as well.

Hopefully, this is just a minor setback and Willie will be back on the road soon. We are all wishing you a quick recovery Willie!!
