Willie Nelson will Headline the 2016 Luck Banquet

It has been announced that Willie Nelson will headline the 2016 'Luck Banquet', an exclusive event hosted on Willie's private Luck, Texas ranch in the hill country on Friday, March 18, 2016.

Their goal is to attract musicians, artisans, and chefs, who like the outlaws and outliers before them, follow their dreams without compromise.

By collaborating with a group of creators who share their vision, they aim to celebrate the legacies still among them, while lifting up the new crop of individuals who share a respect for those who blazed the trails before them.

It's interesting to note that the ranch served as the setting of Nelson's Red Headed Stranger movie in 1986.

The Banquet occurs during Austin's annual 'South by Southwest' event.

In addition to Nelson performing, the Luck Banquet features more than 20 country, rock and soul artists.
