Cooper's BBQ Live in Christoval is bringing more great talent to their stage this Friday, June 24th with Kody West & Dylan Wheeler and Kickin' Country 103-1 has your FREE admission.

Just one year after his first EP “Higher Ground” Kody and the band released their debut album “Green in April of 2017 and found themselves quickly gaining a large following of loyal fans. In the past 3 years he and his band have traveled across the country headlining shows, as well as serving as the supporting act for artist like Charlie Robison, Whiskey Myers , and Koe Wetzel. They have now released their sophomore record “Overgrown” that was recorded in Kody’s hometown of Denton, Texas. Kody’s drive for Touring and live shows keep wheels always turning and the band always working as he tours all over Texas and out of State as well.

We play several great songs by Kody West on Kickin' Country 103-1 including: "October", "Ledges", and "Buried Alive".

Dylan Wheeler is a truly unique and special artist who hails from Edgewood, Texas. His music doesn't fit into any one specific box and his blend of both Rock and Alternative genres makes for an original and fresh sound which is getting him a lot of attention these days. Dylan released his first EP “Tell Me If I’m Wrong” towards the end of 2018 and those early songs quickly tallied 10’s of thousands and then 100’s of thousands of streams, so being able to get that kind of success early on prompted Dylan to quit his job in 2019 working in the Oil & Gas industry and he committed himself full-time to his music.
