I got to talk to Zane Williams about his newest album 'Texas Like That' that just came out this past week. This is his fifth album, and so far we are not disappointed. At all. He wrote this song for the people of Texas. It's not just the bluebonnets and the armadillos that make this state what it is. it's the people that live here. Jayton and Jill actually came from one of his Facebook. Fans submitted random words, Zane chooses ten, and he wrote a song with them. That is where his latest single came from, inspiration comes from many places.

It's not just the bluebonnets and the armadillos that make this state what it is. it's the people that live here.

Zane thinks that there's a true authenticity to being able to sing the songs that he wrote, and that fans can really identify with. Make sure you check out his new album, you can get a signed copy from his website, or simply ask for one at a show. You'll even get a free hug out of it!

Make sure you save the date: April 25th. Zane will be making his first appearance at the Grand Ole' Opry, and it's going to be a truly special night. It's amazing to see some of the best acts in Texas & Red Dirt music on the biggest stage in country music. We can't wait to tune in.
