Sunday Funday Adventures

While everybody was out celebrating Saint Patrick's day on Saturday I was in studio working then had a gumbo cook out to attend.  I did however celebrate the actual Saint Patrick's day with some laid back fun.

While many were attending the San Angelo Pub Crawl I was actually in studio running boards for Tommy and Cheyenne while they were on location.  When that was all said and done it was off to my house to get ready for the gumbo cookout.  Saturday night was spent among good friends, great food, cold drinks, campfire guitar picking and a lot of fun.  Sunday however was a little different day as it was the actual Saint Patrick's Day and what better way to celebrate than with a cold Guinness?  My roommate and I ran up to Parrot's Head tavern for a few Guinness treats then off to the disc golf course.  James, Courtney and myself played a 9 hole course twice over and I don't think I did all that bad for my first time.  I will say disc golf does take a bit more skill than I'd thought.  When you tee off you kind of run forward and launch the disc out there.  My right arm is a bit sore from trying to get the technique down.  It was a lot of fun and was nice out on Sunday.  After that one of the other roommates got back in town so we hopped in the car and went to grab some grubbage.  The best part of the night is around the corner.  Some friends of mine tried their hand at brewing some tasty beverages so I swung by there and had a few pulls, played some guitar with them and called it a night shortly after.  All in all it was a fun day with great friends and new activities.  Hope your weekend was great as well.
