The San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo means more than just livestock, carnival, rodeo and the midway.  It also means some top notch acts will be rocking the Blaine's stage and you won't want to miss this week.

After the live music this week at Blaine's Pub I really hope the place will still be standing on Sunday.  First off, Cody Jinks is Thursday night acoustic and if you've never caught his show, you're living under a rock.  You would never match Cody and his voice together.  He's got a true country voice and exquisite writing.  Mix that with some sweet licks on the guitar and you've got some damn good music.  Cody is also one of those guys who is going to hang out after the show and drink beer with everybody and goof off while parting it up.  You've heard his tunes Been Around and We Get By on Kickin' Country and word on the street says we'll be hearing a new radio single soon.  Thursday night I'll see you at Blaine's Pub.

Cody Jinks & His Tonedeaf Hippies - We Get By

Stick around on Friday as the Concho Valley's own Haden Burchard will be taking the Blaine's stage.  Haden Burchard is more than one of our hometown boys, he's also a favorite.  Every single time Haden plays Blaine's it gets rowdy and is the place to be and you don't want to be the only one to miss the party.  You've heard a handful of his songs on Kickin' Country such as Wrapped Up In The Covers, Sittin' At A Bar and  Song For Everyone just to name a few.  Also, I know for a fact that he's been doing some writing and we'll hear some new tunes Friday night so don't miss out.  I mean, it is kind of on the way home from the rodeo so let's do it big.

Haden Burchard - Wrapped Up In The Covers

Do I even need to go over the Saturday night Blaine's Pub entertainment?  Six Market Blvd will be back in the Concho Valley pleasing our ears with their unique style of Texas/Red Dirt music.  I first met these guys back in 2009 up in Fort Worth and right away I became a fan.  Throughout the years I've gotten to know them very well and watched them grow musically loving every song they've put out.  They are on their sixth major radio single and gaining more popularity with each release.  The current album 'Shake It Down' has some great songs including Say It, 14 Miles From Home and my personal favorite Hey Mr. Indian Man.  If you don't have it be sure to pick up a copy Saturday night at Blaine's Pub.  I'll see you there and be sure to bring your party pants, these guys get down.
