Hayes Carll is up for the Best Country Song Grammy Tonight
Best of luck to Hayes Carll at the Grammys tonight. Hayes' song 'Chances Are' is up for the Best Country Song Grammy. The song was recorded by Lee Ann Womack and included on her album "The Way I'm Livin'". The Grammy award in that category goes to the writer of the song, and should the song win, Hayes would take home the Grammy trophy. The song also garnered a Best Country Solo Performance Grammy nomination for Womack.
The Grammys will air tonight at 7 pm on CBS. Chris Stapleton will be one of the performers tonight as he will hit the stage with Austin musician Gary Clark, Jr. and Bonnie Raitt for a tribute to the late, great B.B. King, who passed away in May of last year.
