Organizers of The State Fair of Texas have announced that the fair is making an in-person return beginning on Friday, September 24th and continuing through Sunday, October 17th at Fair Park in Dallas.

Many of you remember that last year's State Fair was canceled due to the pandemic. Did you know that was the first time since World War II that the state fair wasn't held. Organizers plan to make up for lost time with all the good stuff!!

This year's theme is “Howdy, Folks!"

State Fair of Texas president Mitchell Glieber said..."This year's commemorative theme art encompasses the foundation of what the Fair is all about - being together. None of us could have predicted all that the COVID-19 pandemic would bring with it, but we feel so grateful to carry on the State Fair's 135-year history and welcome everyone back with a warm, 'Howdy, Folks!,' this year. We're excited to make up for lost time and help families and friends from all walks of life reconnect again, while making new memories to last a lifetime."

This year, 77 acts will be featured as part of the fair's live music lineup and along with so many other fair activities and events, the concerts are also free all 24 days of the fair with your admission ticket. There are multiple stages located around the grounds offering live music every day. To get the full concert lineup and more, click here.

There will be so much fun in so many ways including: Lots of live bands, exciting rides, wonderful food, livestock exhibitors, rodeos scheduled each weekend night for the first time in more than 30 years and much more.

Fair officials said they'll adhere to all applicable CDC guidelines in place as well as any local, state or federal guidelines.

Since its establishment in 1886, the State Fair of Texas has promoted Texas agriculture, education, and community involvement through quality entertainment in a family-friendly environment. You're invited to enjoy all of the fun at the 2021 State Fair of Texas!
