Jason Boland, Randy Rogers Band, And Josh Abbott Band To Headline Crude Fest 2015
Founded in 2010, Crude Fest is a three-day celebration of Texas music and culture. In 2014, the festival welcomed nearly 10,000 people and featured more than 25 of the leading acts in Texas music, including the Josh Abbott Band, the Casey Donahew Band, Aaron Watson, Cody Canada and the Departed, and Roger Creager. Crude Fest is also home to the annual Texas State Championship BBQ Cook Off. Cody Baker, the founder of Crude Fest, will continue to lead the festival’s local operations in partnership with Townsquare.
“We are excited to work with Cody and the Baker family to further invest in and grow this event,” said Dhruv Prasad, Executive Vice President, Live Events for Townsquare. “We love Texas music, and this festival is a terrific complement to our existing media and live event properties in the region, including our portfolio of 58 radio stations in the state of Texas.”
“To partner with a company that shares my vision, and operates the premier media assets, not only in Midland, but across West Texas, is the perfect way for Crude Fest to grow and thrive,” said Mr. Baker. “I am excited about Crude Fest’s future and remain committed to bringing the best in Texas music to the stage every year. I truly hope our long term sponsors, particularly our partners in the oil and gas industry, and loyal fans will share in my excitement.”
