Jason Eady is such a talented Texas singer-songwriter and it is exciting news that he is about to release a new album...his first in over three years!

It was just announced yesterday (Jan. 26th) that he will release his sixth album on April 21st on Old Guitar Records via Thirty Tigers.

He has enlisted some very familiar names to join him on some of The 10-tracks on this self titled album. Vince Gill will be singing with him on a song called “No Genie in This Bottle,” as well as instrumental contributions from noted musicians Lloyd Maines on steel guitar, and the SteelDrivers’ Tammy Rogers on fiddle. Jason Eady’s wife Courtney Patton will also be featured on the album.

This album is expected to be mostly acoustic, with the only plug-in instrument being Lloyd Maines’ steel guitar. Eady says....“At the beginning I told everyone I wanted to make a record where, if the power went out, we could still sit down and play all the songs the exact same way”.

A lot of this album reflects Eady’s personal life. Jason goes on to say.... “I’ve always been drawn to writing that’s got a simplicity to it, where you’re digging deep into real day-to-day life.”

Jason Eady recently released a duet album with Courtney Patton called Something Together.

I have the track List that you will find on the album. Check it out:
1) Barabbas
