Mejor Que Nada Barbecue Cook-Off To Benefit JPW Learning Center

Its time for you to break out the bar b que pit and the secret recipies so and start cooking to help the JPW Learning Center.

When: March 23rd

Where: 1911 S. Bryant (The Mejor Que Nada Parking Lot)

There will be a entry fee of $125.00 for entering in the brisket, chicken, and ribs categories, and only $20.00 for beans. This is a sanctioned event by the International Barbecue Cookers Association so points will be awarded. Judging will begin at 11a.m. and the awards ceremony will be at 5:30pm Saturday night.

Live entertainment on Friday night is going to be by J.R. Dunn and the Lost Frijoles and on Saturday night its Brice Daniels and No Regrets. All proceeds will go to help the JPW Learning Center to aid in helping students with dyslexia and other learning differences.
