Get connected with the great outdoors and help feed the animals at the Nature Center.

If you were planning a trip to the Nature Center or even if you weren't this is a great chance for you to come and feed the animals. Saturday November 17th is Donation Day and each visitor will receive free entry to the center as long as you bring one donated food item for the animals at the center.

The Nature Center will be open from noon until 5pm, for you to come out and experience great exhibits like prairie dogs, a bobcat, skunks, a gray fox, spiders, scorpions, an alligator and much more.

Food Items that can be donated are as follows:

Red Apples, Bananas, Red Seedless Grapes, Lettuce (No iceberg lettuce please), Zucchini, Yellow Squash, Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Canned Dog Food, Dry Cat Food, Gerbil Foodm Ferret Food, Five Pound Bags Of Chicken Leg Quarters, Frozen Mixed Vegetables, One Pound of Ground Beef(80 percent lean), One Pound Tubes of Ground Tuurkey (85 percent lean)
