2015 Nature Center Day Camp Events + Schedule

Get your kid out of the house this summer, and have them learn something too. The San Angelo Nature Center will be having Day Camps for K-6^th students throughout July and August.

Camp Details:

• K-2^nd :  July 13^th – 17^th and August 10^th – 14^th
• 3^rd – 6^th: July 20^th -24^th and August 17^th – 21^st
• Each camp will last five (5) days
• Camps begin 8AM and ends 12PM

The Friday session will be from 9AM - 10:30PM at the nature trail. Participants must drive to the trail’s entrance on Spillway Road. Family members are invited to join in the hike. Only water will be provided on Friday

Each five-day session is filled with fun nature activities that will allow participants to explore the center, and the Spillway Road Nature Trail while learning about the animals and plants of the Concho Valley. A fun-filled and adventurous week learning about insects, arachnids, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals, wildflowers, other plants and more. Each child will receive:

• Snacks and drinks
• T-shirt
• Curriculum book

Nature Center member cost $80 and non-member $100. Pre-registration is required, and all fees must be paid in advance. Registration will be limited to 30 children per session. Register your child at the San Angelo Nature Center. Nature Center annual memberships are $25 for a family and $20 for an individual.
