The Holidays are here! This week brings you Thanksgiving, a benefit to get your turkey or ham, Black Friday, Santa comes to town, and more! Check it out!

The Toys for Tots 12 Hour Black Friday Toy Drive will be at the Best Buy Parking Lot this Friday (Nov. 25th) from 8 am-8 pm. While you're doing your Christmas Shopping, buy an extra new toy to make a child's Christmas great! We'll be there, so stop by and say hi and donate to Toys for Tots!

Santa Arrives by Train at the Historic Santa Fe Depot this Saturday (Nov. 26th) at 10 am. He will be there for a short visit until Noon and then will be at the Depot for every Show night Friday and Saturday through December 30th, except for Christmas Day. Children of all ages can talk to him & his helpers plus get their picture taken with Santa. Enjoy the show from 6-9 pm. For more information, call 486-2140.

There will be a benefit Car Show this Saturday (Nov. 26th) at the Farmer's Market at 609 S. Oakes Street from 10-6. All proceeds benefit 14 year old Sarah who is battling cancer. Admission is free and the fee to show your vehicle is $25.00.

The Chicken Farm Art Center is hosting an Open House this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Nov. 25th-27th). They have invited artists from all over to come show their work. In addition to the regular Chicken Farmers, you'll find a wide range of jewelry, pottery, painting, sculpture, rocks, mosaics, woodwork, hand-sewn and hand-crafted pieces and more. Drink some hot apple cider & have some cookies. Get your face painted. Play with clay. Have a great time and share the Art Spirit. For more information, call 653-4936.

The 7th annual Seniors Still Believe Program is underway now through Dec. 9th at the Mall. Stop by, get an ornament, and buy the items listed to make Christmas Wishes come true for seniors served by Meals for the Elderly. Drop off locations for these items are at the Mall, the Meals for the Elderly office at 310 E. Houston Harte, or Johnson's Funeral Home at 435 W. Beauregard. Don't miss out on Turkey Tuesday (Nov. 22nd) at Blaine's Pub. The Cooking for Christ team is smoking turkeys & hams for Thanksgiving to benefit the Women's & Children's Shelter.
