The San Angelo Blues Society presents The 13 Annual Simply Texas Blues Festival this Saturday, May 14th from 11 am –11 pm at the San Angelo Riverstage.

Many of us remember when the Blues Festival was held in Historic Downtown San Angelo for years and it was always fun then. But everything takes on new dynamics when you can now enjoy it at the River Stage!! It's going to be a great event and it's free!

The 13 Annual Simply Texas Blues Festival is dedicated to our American soldiers and their families.

Something that is really great about the Blues Fest is that first of all you get to hear some great Blues bands in competition to be judged the best and there are some great bands in the lineup. There is also a Car and Motorcycle Show, a Rib Cook-Off, Food Vendors, a Kid's Play Area and more. There is something for everyone of all ages!

Not only is this a free event but you can even load up your cooler and BYOB (just remember that no glass bottles will be allowed). Brings chairs and blankets to make yourselves comfortable!

Some of the events associated with the Simply Texas Blues Festival will be held outside the River Stage area. Below is a partial list of what is being held where and at what time.
