The San Angelo Cowboy Church's Spring Gatherin' is this Saturday, April 8th at the 1st Community Credit Union Spur Arena. It features Mutton Bustin', Broncs, bulls, 4-D Barrel racing, horseless goat roping, live music, food, and much more. For more information, go to sanangelocowboychurch.org.
The 4th Annual Grape Creek Community Flea Market is this Saturday, April 8th from 9-2 at the Grape Creek Baptist Church. Admission is free and everyone is encouraged to bring donations for Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry. Vendors can call Scott at 653-6655 for more information.
The 10th Annual Nelson McGee Memorial Blue Grass Festival is this Fri. and Sat., April 7th & 8th at the Wells Fargo Pavilion. Enjoy great music from 5 bands, arts & crafts vendors, jam sessions, delicious food, and more to benefit the Concho Valley Home for Girls & the Children's Emergency Center. The Holli Perkins benefit will be at Yaya's this Friday, April 7th beginning at 7pm. Admissioin is a $5.00 minimum donation and you'll enjoy music from Dozer Texas, Thunder Pull, & 3 other great bands. You can also help Holli by donating to her go fund me page. The 12th Annual Picnic in the Park is this Saturday, April 8th at Kirby Park, 29th Street & Edmund Blvd. from 2 - 4 pm. Wear a blue ribbon to show your commitment to prevent child abuse & neglect. Bowling for Boobies will be held at Stadium Lanes this Saturday, April 8th starting at 1 pm. Teams of 5 are encouraged to enter for $150.00 per team. Entry fee includes 3 games of bowling, shoe rental and t-shirts. There's all kinds of prizes including a team spirit award, creative costume contest and more.
