The Santa Rita Oil & History Day is Saturday, June 3rd at the Railway Museum. You can learn about the history behind the Santa Rita Number One, the first oil well in West Texas. The San Angelo Astronomy Association will have their annual Star Party at the State Park on Saturday, June 3rd. Admission to the park is free and you're invited to come out just before sunset to safely look at the sun, then lots of stars after dark until 11 pm. Call 949-8935 for more information.
