As the summer season begins, there are plenty of events happening in and around San Angelo you won't want to miss. From museums to concerts to festivals, there's something for everyone. Downtown Movie Nights

Date: Friday, June 7
Location: Parking lot at 17 East Twohig (between The Cactus Hotel and Miss Hattie’s)
Details: Barbie is the first film of the 2024 summer season. Movie begins at dusk, around 9 p.m. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket. This is a free event.

Jim Bowie Cook-Off & River Rat Fest

Date: Saturday, June 8
Location: 301 Decker Street in Menard
Details: Prepare for a day filled with delicious food, live music, and fun activities. Festival opens at 9 a.m. and will include performances by The Ranch Road Band, Jesse Keith Whitley, and headliner The Great Divide.

Date: Saturday, June 15
Location: Sports Next Level
Details: Event begins at 6:30 pm. Come listen to some great music while supporting a much-needed cause. DJ FE, an award-winning DJ from New York, will be spinning to help raise awareness regarding San Angelo's stray dog crisis.
