Chick-fil-A has picked Houston to roll out its first food truck in Texas...Perhaps because there are 74 Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Houston area including the two busiest Chick-fil-A restaurants in the country.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the Chick-fil-A food truck is scheduled to open Dec. 15.

Chick-fil-A franchisee Jesse Chaluh is spearheading the project. “We’re still looking into where food trucks can go in Houston,” he told the Houston Chronicle. “We worked with a food-truck manufacturer who understands our rigorous food safety and quality standards. In fact, we’re in the process of going through safety and health inspections now.”

The Chick-fil-A food truck menu will be limited but will offer favorites like the Original Chicken Sandwich, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, one or two cold entrée products and waffle fries. The drinks include their famous sweet and unsweetened tea, and lemonade.

Chaluh is putting the finishing touches on the paint job for his new truck. There will be the familiar Chick-fil-A logo, but no cows.

We all know that Texans love Chick-fil-A and now a new way to get it is on the way!
