The album titled "The Given" is due out Tuesday May 29th and I had the pleasure of listening to it early and WOW what an album. I must say that my all time favorite album from Wade is "Lost Hotel" but this new album is quickly making its way to kicking that album to a close second place.

The album starts out with the popular song "Saturday Night" which Wade Bowen had released to radio and made a quick run up the charts and became a crowd favorite at shows. Its a great feel good song that puts you in the right mind set to enjoy the rest of the album. The album boast a 10 song track list that really remind us (the listeners) why we feel in love with Wade Bowen. There are two tracks on the album that are co writes with Adam Hood that take us into the slow love songs that rival every other love song in the scene and will become one of the top love songs in the scene. The awesomeness doesn't stop there Sean McConnell also co writes on two of the songs "Patch of Bad Weather" and "Beat Me Down", and as a side note I fell in love with the song "Patch of Bad Weather".  Wade wraps up the album with an old Townes Van Zandt tune called "To Live is To Fly" and features a Texas music legend Guy Clark on the track to give the album a true Texas foundation.

Wade Bowen teamed up with Justin Niebank who is an ace of a producer that gives the album the perfect sound and mix. Justin has worked with names such as Bon Jovi, Dolly Parton, Kenny Chesney and more.

Overall its a new album to remind us exactly what this scene is all about and it brings together the old with the new and puts a high mark on the board for others to follow.
