Are You Tough Enough To Wear Pink?

This is the last week of our San Angelo Rodeo and it's an annual tradition to wear pink this Thursday at the Rodeo. I visited with Mary Payton from the American Cancer Society to talk about it this morning on the 'Kickin' Wake-Up Call'...

She said that their will be a crew of volunteers from the ACS Thursday all wearing pink T-shirts that say HOPE. That's because our hope is to one day end cancer forever.

Mary encourages everyone to wear pink this Thursday to show your support for the fight against cancer.

The crew of volunteers will have various things you can purchase so that you have a show of pink with you.

Mary also said that 50 cents from every ticket sold to Thursday night's Rodeo Performance at 7:30 will go to the American Cancer Society's local office.
