Did we say we miss live converts?.. Festivals?.. Basically any type of public gathering? Remember Dierks Bentley's Seven Peaks Music Festival? By all accounts, Dierks' inaugural festival back in 2018 was a ringing success. This year would have been too, 'till of course COVID happened.
It was two years ago this month that Cody Canada and the Departed played the Colorado festival. Soon after the it wrapped several of the weekend's great moments began getting shared online. While we'd never want to rank performances, this one was the best one to surface. Number one.
Cody Canada and Dierks Bentley friendship has been a long one, in fact Cody's son was named after the country superstar. And Bentley famously name drops Cross Canadian Ragweed in his hit "Free and Easy Down the Road I Go."
At Seven Peaks in 2018, Dierks and Cody put their own spin on Merle Haggard’s 1967 hit, ‘I’m a Lonesome Fugitive.” More, please? Shoutout to Youtuber rhettmillerfan for getting this marvelous video up for all of us to enjoy.
