Laughlin Air Force Base in conjunction with Goodfellow Air Force Base is presenting a flyover in San Angelo this Thursday, May 21st.

This flyover is to honor and thank our first responders, medical officials, law enforcement, and the community for their efforts to combat  COVID-19,

Laughlin's update states that Thursday's flying formation will have several different kinds of military aircraft including a T-6 Texan II, T-38C Talon, and T-1A Jayhawk.

Colonel Lee Gentile, 47th Flying Training Wing Commander said “As a community, our ability to remain united and proactive with adhering to preventative care measures during this unforeseen situation has truly played a significant role in our ability to contain this virus. It is a privilege to honor our local heroes, because every day they are on the front lines, protecting us from this invisible enemy.”
