Free Root Beer Float & Donate to Wounded Warrior Project – National Root Beer Float Day

August 6th is National Root Beer Float Day, and A & W Restaurants across the nation are celebrating by giving out free floats starting at 2PM until closing time.

But, there is something even better going on. When you go in to collect on your free, delicious root beer float, you can donate to the Wounded Warrior Project. You can help support this project that goes above and beyond int heir efforts to help the military men, women, and their families, all while enjoying a classic American treat.
