Get Rid Of Used Up Tires at “Tires To-Go”

Keep San Angelo Beautiful is having a special event called "TIRES TO-GO" on  Sat, Nov 19th where they will gladly take those unwanted tires from you.

Keep San Angelo Beautiful (KSAB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designed to enhance the quality of life in San Angelo. This is just one of the numerous projects they do annually to keep San Angelo Beautiful so San Angelo can do beautiful things!

If you have some tires that you would like to get rid of, this is a golden opportunity to drop them off at this event.

The 2022 TIRES TO-GO Event is being held on Saturday, November 19th from 7:00 – 10:00 am at the San Angelo Coliseum.

They have loaded over 20 trailers and removed over 15,000 tires to date and they could sure use some volunteers this year to help get them to 20,000! Register your team and join in for a brisk morning of exhilarating activity! For more information, call (325) 486-3771. Supplies and refreshments will be provided

This event is fun and rids our community of potential diseases and contamination of water sources.

All tires are recycled in Burnet, Texas where they are chipped in to one-inch squares and transported for tire derived fuel.

Metals are stripped, sent to a steel foundry, and recycled into rebar and angle iron products.

Best of all, these tires do not go to our landfill in San Angelo!
