This Thurs, May 28thMike and the Moonpies are about to release their 7th full-length album called ‘Touch Of You - The Lost Songs of Gary Stewart’.

The release will feature ten songs written or co-written by Gary Stewart, but never released.

The band has been recording the songs working apartfrom their own home studios because of COVID-19 social distancing, and yet were able to complete the album in time to release it on Gary’s birthday which is this Thurs, May 28th.

The LP includes some special guest including: Jamie Lin Wilson, Mark Wystrach of Midland, Courtney Patton, Zac Wilkerson and others.

Gary Stewart penned or co-wrote all of the songs during the 70s and 80s. The band has even been working with Stewart’s daughter, Shannon and best friend Tommy Schwartz to make sure they got it right!

We lost a great country treasure when Stewart passed in December of 2003.

The band wanted to make sure that Gary Stewart, whom many have crowned the ‘King of Honky Tonk’ would be proud of their tribute!

Be sure to purchase it this Thursday. I'm sure it's going to be great!
