In a statement made by Ray he stressed the need to be safe!
This is real and needs to be treated as such. Be safe, wash your hands, STAY OUT OF THE PUBLIC, hunker down and I look forward to getting out on the road and playing music with my band and seeing everyone ASAP!
The 69-year-old Austin, TX native has since updated everyone on Asleep At The Wheel's Facebook page expressing Benson’s gratitude for the outpouring of well wishes and a request for his fans to love each other and treat everyone with respect as well as a strong urging to practice social distancing as much as possible.
