It's hard to believe that Reckless Kelly has been on the Texas/Red Dirt scene long enough to celebrate their 20th anniversary but they are getting ready to do just that...

On Oct. 20, the band will commemorate the 1997 release of their first album 'Millican' with a limited edition vinyl release which will also feature two new tracks. Reckless Kelly even recorded the new tunes at the recording studio in Austin where they originally recorded Millican over 20 years ago.

The release will be a double-LP. Here's the kicker...only 1,000 copies of the record are being pressed and released, so fans need to act fast in order to reserve a copy.

Millican’s 20th-anniversary pressing is now available for pre-order. Two separate bundles are available, some even signed by the band.

Vocalist and guitarist Willy Braun said...“Twenty years flew by like it was nothin’, and then all of a sudden, there we were, back at Arlyn Studios listening to the masters on two-inch tape. Now that ironically, vinyl is the new big deal, we’ve decided that Millican deserves a place in the record collection. It was, after all, recorded to tape, (something that only the cool cats were doing at the time) so it seems fitting to have an all-analog version available for the die-hards.”

Other products included in the bundles are a t-shirt, koozie, CD edition of Millican and a digital download card for the album. You can also purchase  each item individually starting on October 20th.
