SAMFA’s Family Give Back Day
The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts will host Family Give Back on Saturday December 12th at the Art Museum located at One Love Street.
It's free and goes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Help celebrate the best time of the year by giving back to this community!
During this special Family Day event families are asked to be creative with donations and projects for those that need a little cheer for the holidays.
This year SAMFA will be hosting a Toys for Tots drop-off. The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters in our community.
In SAMFA’s galleries kids and adults can give back to the troops by creating special holiday cards to be sent to our soldiers overseas.
Families can also decorate sacks for Meals for the Elderly and give hope to those who need our support the most!
Four fun filled art activities will take place in SAMFA’s Education Studio.
SAMFA’s Christmas at the Coop will be open during Family Day Give Back on December 10th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Coop Gallery on South Oakes Street (a short walk from the Museum). There will be free hot cocoa, a dollhouse display, and an electric toy train, art activities and a community Christmas decoration display.
