San Angelo's favorite fundraising book sale starts this week. The Adult Literacy Council of the Concho Valley is bringing you an awesome five day book sale as "The Best Little Book Sale in Texas" returns starting Thursday, October 21st and continuing through Monday, October 25th.

The Best Little Book Sale in Texas will be held at the Concho Valley Transit Center which is located at 510 N Chadbourne Street.

If you love books, this is an awesome opportunity to expand your book collection very inexpensively and if you are finished with some of your books and would like to share them with others, your donating them would be very much appreciated by the Adult Literacy Council.

You will find a wonderful selection of books for all ages during this sale including children's books, adult fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks, picture books and on and on with endless possibilities.

Plan on making it out to the Preview Night event which will be held on Thursday, October 21st from 5-9 pm at the Concho Valley Transit Center which is located at 510 N Chadbourne Street. This is without a doubt the best night to make the book sale because for just a $5 admission fee, you can get the first pick of all of those awesome books and browse all four hours if you like while enjoying refreshments that will be served throughout the event.

With the exception of Preview Night, the rest of the event offers free admission daily. The schedule and hours are listed below:

Thursday, October 21st Preview Night..$5 admission...hours are 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Friday, October 22nd free admission.......hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 23rd free admission...hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 24th free admission......hours are 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday, October 25th free admission.....hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
