The 5th annual 'Buddy Walk' for Down Syndrome is this Saturday, Oct. 8th at Kirby Park beginning at 10 am. There's music, raffles, and lots of fun activities to help kids who deal with Down Syndrome. Go to westtexasdsa.com for registration and event information.
Concho Valley College Night is being held this Tuesday, October 4th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at ASU’s C.J. Davison Conference Center. College representatives from over 40 colleges, universities and military branches from across Texas and the nation will be on hand to provide valuable information about their respective schools & programs.
The San Angelo National Night Out is this Tuesday, Oct. 4th. Spend the evening outside visiting with our police, EMS, and firefighters. Stop by any of the 8 locations in Wall & San Angelo and enjoy games, first responder vehicles, kid's activities, prizes, and more.
The 12th annual Flight of the Monarchs Trail Ride is this Sat. and Sun., October 8th & 9th at the San Angelo State Park. It's a full weekend of horseback riding and hiking to photograph the butterflies. Enjoy a chuck wagon dinner & breakfast, live music, Cowboy Church, a poker run and more. The San Angelo Elks Lodge is having their semiannual garage sale this Saturday, the 8th from 8 am til Noon at 2121 S. Chadbourne. The lodge is also accepting items for the sale by calling 227-6920. All proceeds benefit their youth and military veteran's programs.
The 7th annual Party in Pink Zumbathon, a fundraiser for breast cancer awareness, is this Saturday, October 8th from 10 a.m. to noon at the San Angelo Central High School T-Gym.
