Sturgill Simpson Performed at This Years Farm Aid

Sturgill Simpson has been adding some brass to his band to increase the dynamics of the sound he is looking for. He had a great opportunity to showcase it with his performance at Farm Aid over the weekend.

Something that Simpson is known for in his live shows is injecting a lot of energy into his performance.

The Most high energy song that he does on stage has got to be 'Call to Arms' which is the final track on his latest album 'A Sailor's Guide to Earth.'

2016 has been a great year for Simpson. His third album, A Sailor’s Guide to Earth, released back in April, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Country Album Chart and his Sailor’s Guide tour has sold-out theaters across the U.S. and Europe.
