An interesting touring combination has taken shape. Sturgill Simpson will be opening for rockers Guns N’ Roses later this year.

After he completes some tour dates of his own through July, Simpson will go on the road opening for Gun's N' Roses in Colorado, Arkansas and Florida.

When you stop and think about it, Simpson’s latest album, 'A Sailor’s Guide to Earth' has much more of a rock sound than country, even though he won a Grammy for Country Album Of The Year with it!
