Woman Attacks Her Grandmother for Denying Facebook Request

A 27-year-old woman in Florida was arrested after slapping her 72-year-old grandmother.   According to a report, the altercation happened after the granddaughter got upset her Facebook friend request wasn't accepted by her grandmother.

Rachel Anne Hayes of Clearwater, Florida was charged with aggravated battery on an elderly person.  Hayes allegedly slapped her grandmother several times before she was able to shut the door and call police.  According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, alcohol was a factor in the incident, in addition, they reported Hayes has a record of DUI and disorderly conduct due to alcohol.
