Christmas At Old Fort Concho Is A Great Tradition!
Get ready for a wonderful weekend of Christmas fun, shopping and entertainment on the grounds of Old Fort Concho this Fri - Sat, Dec 2nd – 4th!
If you don't already feel the holiday spirit, Christmas at Old Fort Concho is sure to brighten your holiday season with so much going on all weekend long!
Join Santa for pancakes on Saturday morning which is hosted by the San Angelo Lions Clubs annually and served in the Stables of Fort Concho from 7:30 - 11 am. There is also a Cowboy Chuck Wagon Breakfast on Sunday morning with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fried taters and coffee which will be served from 9 - 10 am and hosted by the San Angelo Cowboy Church and their Chuck Wagon Team.
Christmas at Old Fort Concho will once again transform the fort’s forty acres and twenty-four buildings into a winter wonderland this weekend. Get out and experience all of the wonderful holiday things that will be going on like the Winter Rendezvous, campsites with hundreds of re-enactors and period traders who bring the 1800s to life. Troops on the Parade Ground will drill, ride, and shoot their weapons including artillery demonstrations. Inside the fort’s buildings, merchants and artisans from across Texas and beyond will offer many unique items for your Christmas shopping. There will be a Food Court offering numerous food options, you'll hear strolling musicians and staged musical activities.
Children’s Areas will provide many crafts and activities free for all youngsters. Check out the Gingerbread House & Christmas Cookie Display. Be sure to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus in the Santa House with photo opps.
There will also be an old fashioned Church Service on Sunday Morning hosted by the San Angelo Cowboy Church in the Stables.
Hours are: Fri 3-8pm, Sat 9am-7pm and Sun 11am - 4pm.
