Ram Jam presents another great band this Saturday, October 22nd at 3 pm with Shane Smith and the Saints putting on a FREE show as part of Ram Jam before the Homecoming Football game.

The Homecoming game is gearing up to be a very exciting matchup with Angelo State University facing off against TX A&M Kingsville.  Both teams are undefeated going into the game, so it should be a great one!

Ram Jam is held at the LeGrand Alumni & Visitors Center at 1620 University Ave! It's  the place to be before all ASU home football games! Ram Jam is a tradition at Angelo State University, and typical Ram Jams include Live music, Free food and Children’s activities, Giveaways, and as game time nears, the ASU Ram Band, the Angelettes and the cheerleaders perform for the crowd following the featured band, in this case Shane Smith and the Saints, and then lead the group to LeGrand Stadium at 1st Community Credit Union Field for the game!

Anyone 21 and over wishing to consume alcohol at Ram Jam will need to get a free wristband from the wristband stations at each Ram Jam. You must present a valid government-issued photo ID to receive a wristband.

With a reputation as a high-energy live act offering up stunning four-part harmonies, Shane Smith and the Saints Smith have built a solid reputation as one of the best and most in demand bands on the Texas/Red Dirt music scene today. Their first album, Coast, was released in 2013, and two years later came Geronimo, followed by Hail Mary in 2019. Their newest studio recording is called “Hummingbird.” Shane Smith and The Saints are one of the most played Texas/Red Dirt bands on radio today and constantly touring and playing major venues with other great bands and artist all over the country.

Enjoy ASU's Homecoming events throughout this week including a variety of activities  promoting school spirit and involve every member of the Ram Family and the San Angelo community.

ASU Homecoming has been a tradition since 1964 and is a hallmark of ASU life. Enjoy it!!
