Tax Free Weekend

DESK program which will be set up at both Walmart locations, is collecting donations donations all weekend long. They would appreciate school supplies or cash donations to purchase them for San Angelo students that otherwise won't have supplies when they start class.

Downtown Movie Night features Paddington in the parking lot across from the Cactus Hotel at 9 pm. Concessions are available. Bring your lawn chair and join us for a free, fun downtown movie night.

Saturday, August 8th

Heroes for Heroes Blood Drive at the Sunset Mall Community Room. Everyone who donates gets a Custom Heroes T-shirt, a $5 gift card, and a chance to win Cowboys football tickets, and possibly a new car! You can also vote for your favorite first responders, Fire, Police, or Sheriff's Department.

West Texas Men of Courage Sportsmen's Expo is at the Wells Fargo Pavilion. Tickets are $25 per person and men and boys ages 7 and up are encouraged to come and enjoy a ribeye steak dinner, gun and outdoor equipment drawings, and the special guest speaker will be Andy Paterson, who survived a mountain lion attack.
