The Memorial Day Golf Tournament to benefit soldiers and their families will be at Quicksand Golf Course this Thursday, May 26th. The cost is $50 per player with teams of 4. Every Thursday, enjoy an afternoon of art making in the San Angelo Museum of Fine Art Education Studio! They always feature clay and watercolor, and every three weeks there are two new art projects to try. Visitors are welcome to drop in anytime between 3 pm and 6 p.m. Please allow at least 30 minutes to try all projects.

The 3rd Annual Giant Pumpkin Contest is open to individuals, businesses, organizations, youth groups along with child & senior care facilities. Military Veterans and their families are invited to the Elks Lodge for a Free Brisket Lunch this Saturday, May 28th from 11 until 3 at 2121 S. Chadbourne. The United Women's Ministry has begun a 'Feed the Homeless' Program. Their free breakfast is 7-11 am on the last Saturday of each month.
