WOW. This is something straight out of ABC's Nashville. You may remember a song titled Travelin' Soldier, it was written in the mid '90s by Texas singer/songwriter Bruce Robison. The song was later covered by the Dixie Chicks, and included on their 2002 album Home. In fact, it became the Texas trio's last No. 1 single, back in 2003.
