We have had so much rain lately that I thought we needed to have a 'Throwback Thursday' song this week having to do with rain.........

We have been putting listeners on the guest list this week to see JB And The Moonshine Band this Friday Night at Midnight Rodeo. For today's Throwback Thursday we are going back to bring you the making of one of his hits which was a duet.......

Jerry Jeff Walker turned 74 yesterday (March 16th) and I am sure the birthday party will continue all week long, so let's make Jerry Jeff our Throwback Artist of the week.

Johnny Cooper is playing Blaine's Pub tonight. This guy started making great music and achieving a lot of success at a very early age and he just keeps taking it to the next level!!

Johnny Cash played venues all over the world and had fans worldwide as well. He even played and recorded a concert for some of his fans who were spending time in San Quentin prison in 1969.

Wade Bowen is Headlining at Midnight Rodeo this Friday night with Zane Williams opening the show. It is going to be such a great night for live music. Wade has been on the Texas Music Scene for 15 plus years and I wanted to spotlight one of his earlier songs on our Throwback Thursday.....

Kevin Fowler has been making great music for many years now and has been a staple of the Texas Music Scene since it's beginning! With Kevin playing Midnight Rodeo this Friday night, I thought we might feature one of his great songs from some years back on our 'Throwback Thursday'.

Gary P. Nunn has been writing, recording, and touring since the 60's and has won numerous awards throughout his career. In 2007 - Texas Governor Rick Perry made him a Musical Ambassador for Texas and that title fits him quite well as he continues to make great music and tour regularly today.
