Relay for Life Tom Green County 2012

The fundraising event of the year draws to a close, and gives inspiration for HOPE and a CURE!

Relay for Life is one of the most anticipated events of the year, this event pulls people from every direction and walk of life to one location for 12 hours and honors, remembers those who have fought or are fighting cancer and hopes for a cure to the terrible disease.

This year was my third year to be involved and it is always a great time to rally with folks that we see everyday and those that we only see during Relay for Life. I enjoy sitting back and playing the music for those folks walking for a cure, talking to cancer survivors, and the care takers that are there to help cancer patients on a daily basis.  This year's Relay For Life Tom Green County raised over 230 thousand dollars to benefit the American Cancer Society to help find a cure. Way to go Concho Valley! What an awesome job you have done!
